    Itinerary

    1. Day1
      Arrive Zagreb

      You will be met at the airport in Zagreb and transferred to your hotel. The day is at leisure until a welcome dinner.


    2. Day2
      Zagreb

      A morning sightseeing tour will take you along the historic Upper Town. See St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or take an optional excursion to the countryside.


    3. Day3
      Zagreb to Sarajevo

      Journey south, out of Croatia to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After checking in at the hotel in Sarajevo, relax and enjoy dinner.


    4. Day4
      Sarajevo to Dubrovnik

      Sarajevo has been influenced by a number of cultures and civilizations. On your city tour visit the picturesque Turkish bazaar “Bas Carsija”, the Husref Bay’s Mosque, Olympic Stadium and Gavrilo Princip Museum. Then, continue your trip through the mountains and along the gorge of the Neretva River to Mostar. Here, see the remains of the Turkish quarter and the reconstruction efforts on the 16th century stone bridge. Travel on to Dubrovnik.


    5. Day5
      In Dubrovnik

      There is a walking tour of “Old Dubrovnik” this morning; the Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column and the Sponza Palace. You will also see the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. The rest of the day is at leisure in Dubrovnik.


    6. Day6
      In Dubrovnik, excursion to Montenegro

      Travel to the Republic of Montenegro. Head towards the mouth of the beautiful Bay of Kotor, the longest and deepest fjord in Southern Europe. See the little towns of Risan and Kotor. Then proceed to Cetinje, once the seat of Montenegrin rulers, today a city museum. After the sightseeing in Cetinje, travel to the coast for a short stop in the villages of Sveti Stefan and Budva before returning to Dubrovnik.


    7. Day7
      Dubrovnik to Split

      Depart Dubrovnik and travel north along the spectacular Adriatic coast, past old fishing villages and new resorts, to Split. Enjoy a city tour featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral.


    8. Day8
      Split to Trogir and Plitvice Lakes

      After breakfast, head to Trogir, the center of artistic activities. Scholars from around the world gather to study and paint here. Then, turn inland and journey to Plitvice Lakes National Park.


    9. Day9
      In Plitvice Lakes

      A full day to enjoy Plitvice National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Have your camera ready and take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. The rest of the day is at leisure.


    10. Day10
      Plitvice Lakes to Opatija and Bled

      Return to the coast to the beautiful bay of Kvarner and its popular resort, Opatija. An orientation tour of Opatija will present the highlights of this former Imperial resort city. After your visit here, drive across the border into Slovenia and on to picturesque Bled.


    11. Day11
      Bled

      A sightseeing tour of Bled features the charming town with the lakeshore, and imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. After your tour, travel to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Here, view the Central open-air Market, Baroque Town Hall, Robba’s Fountain, the Three Bridges and the Parliament. Return to Bled in the evening.


    12. Day12
      Bled to Venice

      Leave Bled, driving south to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Then, continue on to the marvelous city of Venice.


    13. Day13
      Venice,

      Today begins with a walking tour of Venice featuring the major highlights: St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell Tower and the Bridge of Sighs. The tour ends with a visit to a glass blowing factory where you may see the demonstration of a traditional Venetian glass blowing. Balance of the day is at leisure. In the afternoon, enjoy Venice at your own pace, shop or join an optional gondola ride. Farewell dinner at local restaurant.


    14. Day14
      Depart Venice

      After breakfast we drive to Venice airport for your flight home.

    1. All prices quoted herein are in Canadian Dollars.
    2. By submitting my request online, I confirm that the spelling of all passenger names listed above are correct and is how they appear in their travel documentation. I understand that if any changes to the names are required after this booking is made supplier imposed charges will apply.
    3. I also agree that it is my responsibility to ensure that I/we have the appropriate documentation (Passport/Visa/ID card etc.) to gain entry to the chosen destination and entry into Canada upon my/our return.
    4. Prices, availability, and dates during this period are subject to change as per the airline rules and regulations.
    5. For your protection, a Polimex Travel representative will call or email you to confirm your details and delivery information.
    6. It is important that you ensure that you check the names, destinations, dates, and hotel before completing your booking.
    7. Changes to bookings may result in 100% penalty, and/or an administration fee.
    8. Proof of documents for bookings using a third party credit card, may be required, back and front of card and copy of drivers license

    Cancellation Policy

    • If cancellation is received at least 45 days before starting date; the deposit is refundable.
    • There is no refund if cancellation is received 44 - 0 days before starting date: 100 % non refundable
    • Once booked, your air, hotel, and any other reservations cannot be transferred or changed to another name or destination.

    Tour price includes

    • Transfers are provided complimentary from airports, harbours, etc, to hotels and vice versa by motor coach or private car only on first and last day as per itinerary under the condition that accurate transfer information is provided. 
    • Hotel accommodation in 3, 4, or 5 star hotels as per individual program description.
    • Price is per person based on two persons sharing room. A limited number of single rooms are available by paying the supplement shown for each tour.

    Reservations and Payment

    -deposit of a $300 per person is required 7 days of booking, unless reservation is made within 45 days of departure  at which time full payment is due

    -balance due 45 days before starting date of tour

    Cancellation policy:

    Cancellations are subject to the following:

    • If cancellation is received at least 45 days before starting date: $100 per person
    • If cancellation is received at least 34- 22 days before starting date: 25% of tour cost
    • If cancellation 21 - 8 days before starting date: 30% of tour cost
    • If cancellation is received 7 - 3 days before starting date: 50% of tour cost
    • If cancellation is received 3 - 0 days before starting date: 100% non refundable!!
