    Itinerary

    1. Day1
      Breakfast, DinnerWarsaw

      Meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby at 6:00 PM for a welcome dinner with a folk show.


    2. Day2
      Breakfast, LunchWarsaw

      After breakfast sightseeing of Warsaw, an extraordinary city which influences of Western and Eastern culture cross. It is here that historic buildings, palaces and churches destroyed during WWII, have been painstakingly reconstructed. The historic centre of Warsaw along with its monuments and relics has been placed on The UNESCO World Heritage List. Lunch. Afternoon free time.


    3. Day3
      Breakfast, LunchWarsaw– Częstochowa – Aushwitz - Zakopane

      After breakfast we depart for Zakopane via Częstochowa. En route you'll visit the Jasna Gora monastery and its famous shrine which houses the Black Madonna, venerated by some as the “Queen of Poland”. Lunch in Częstochowa. Next stop is Oswiecim where we visit the Auschwitz Martyrdom Museum, site of the dreadful Nazi death camp. Continue to Zakopane.


    4. Day4
      Breakfast, DinnerZakopane - Kraków

      Sightseeing of Zakopane and its quaint wooden architecture. A ride to the top of Mt. Gubalowka provides a breathtaking view of the Tatras. Afternoon raft trip down Dunajec river. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Kraków.


    5. Day5
      Breakfast, DinnerKraków - Wieliczka - Kraków

      Morning sightseeing of Krakow, Poland's cultural capital, with about a quarter of the country's museum holdings, and European City of Culture for the year 2000, with it's fortified castle and cathedral resting atop Wawel Hill, the Old Town, St. Mary's Church and the Cloth Hall. Afternoon visit the 700 - year - old Wieliczka Salt Mine, an unforgettable three miles of undergroung chambers, caves,chapels and statues all sculptured from salt. Dinner with folklore show at a local restaurant.

      Breakfast, LunchKraków - Warsaw - Toruń

      Morning departure for Toruń, a historic town on the banks of the Vistula River. Lunch en route.


    7. Day7
      Breakfast, LunchToruń - Gdynia

      A morning city tour of Toruń's marvelous Gothic architecture includes the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus on St. Anne's Street. Tour the Old Town Square, Town Hall, nearby “Pod Gwiazdą” house, and much more. After lunch, departure for Gdynia.


    8. Day8
      Breakfast, LunchGdynia - Gdńsk - Sopot- Gdynia

      After breakfast sightseeing of Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot. The three municipalities make up a vast metropolis known as the Trojmiasto (Tri-city). Gdansk is one of Poland's three major seaports, a city with a thousand years of history and full of priceless monuments. Gdansk neighbours on Sopot, best known for it's wide wooden pier, almost half a kilometre long , and the Opera which hosts the annual International Song Festival. North of Sopot lies Gdynia, a city built between 1920 and 1930 on the site of an exciting village as the main port and shipbuilding centre. Organ concert in the Oliwa Cathedral. Lunch. Rest of day free time.


    9. Day9
      Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerGdynia – Malbork - Olsztyn

      Today we leave for the Mazurian Lake district, one of Poland's favorite vacation areas. Along the way, stop in Malbork, famous for the massive Teutonic Knights' castle one of the best-preserved medieval structures in Central Europe. After lunch continue for Olsztyn. Picnic and overnight in Olsztyn.


    10. Day10
      Breakfast, DinnerOlsztyn - Warszawa

      After breakfast, departure for Warszawa. On the way we'll stop in Olsztynek, the site of an outdoor museum of folk architecture. Farewell dinner.

    Cancellation Policy (Tours)

    Cancellations are subject to the following fees :

    • If cancellation is received at least 45 days before starting date : $ 100 per person
    • If cancellation is received at least 44 - 35 days before starting date : $ 250 per person
    • If cancellation is received at least 34 - 20 days before starting date : 50% of tour cost
    • If cancellation is received at least 19 - 6 days before starting date : 75 % of tour cost
    • If cancellation is received 5 – 0 days before starting date : 100 % non refundable !!
    • Once booked, your air, hotel, and any other reservations cannot be transferred or changed to another name or destination.

    We strongly recommend trip cancellation & interruption insurance.

     

    Reservation and Payment Policy

    • Deposit of $ 300 per person is required upon booking, unless reservation is made within 45 days of departure at which time full payment is due
    • Balance due 45 days before starting date of tour
    • Guests must be at least 18 to 21 years of age at time of check-in (depending on individual hotel policy) unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    • You must present photo ID at check in.
    • Changes and cancellation can be made through Polimex Travel only. Please do not contact your travel providers to process any changes or refunds. Changes or cancellations may incur charges.
    • Your hotel reservation is prepaid and guaranteed for late arrival.
    • Any incidental charges at your hotel (parking, phone calls, room service, or energy surcharges) will be handled directly between you and the hotel.
    • Once booked, your air, hotel, and any other reservations cannot be transferred or changed to another name or destination.
    • No refunds can be made for unused hotel nights resulting from delayed check-in or early check-out, unless you've purchased a Travel Protection Plan. Please reference your insurance policy to file a claim.
    • It is highly recommended that a passport is used. Note that some destinations now accept passports only. It is the traveler's responsibility to travel with the required documents. No refunds will be made if improper documentation results in denied boarding or entry.

    Tour price includes

    • Tour starts in lobby of hotel in Warsaw at 6 pm when ORBIS guide meets the tour participants
    • Hotel accommodation in 3, 4, or 5 star hotels as per individual program description.
    • Price is per person based on two persons sharing room. A limited number of single rooms are available by paying the supplement shown for each tour.
    • Halfboard : breakfast and lunch or dinner as per tour description
    • Sightseeing and visits/ entrance fees according to the program
    • Coach transport
    • English-speaking guide's assistance throughout the tour
    • Service fees and local taxes are included

    Tour price does not include

    • Insurance: cancellation and medical insurance strongly recommended. Please check details in our Insurance section or contact us for further information.
    • Drinks of any kind, unless otherwise specified
    • Items of a personal nature such as telephone calls, laundry, room service, mini-bar
    • Tips to the guides are at your discretion
    • Arrival and departure transfers and any other additional services can be arranged on request at an additional cost
