Departure from Toronto to Warsaw.

Dinner
Transfer to hotel upon arrival.
Meet the group in the lobby at 06:30pm. Welcome dinner at 07:00pm at local restaurant.
Overnight in Warsaw.

Morning sightseeing including a short film depicting the history of Warsaw, Lazienki Park with Chopin Monument, drive along Royal route. Lunch in the Old Town.
Rest of day at leisure with possibility of visiting one or more of the excellent museums in Warsaw
such as the Chopin Museum, Warsaw Uprising Museum, or the Royal Castle .
Overnight in Warsaw.

Morning departure from Warsaw . We drive north to Malbork where we will visit the Teutonic
Knights Castle, the largest brick building in Europe and one of Poland’s greatest tourist attractions. Continue to Gdansk where we will arrive early evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast we will have a full day of sightseeing including : the Old Town of Gdansk with the
Golden gate which opens onto Long Market, the Artus Court , Neptune fountain, and St Mary’s Basilica. Free time for shopping and a light lunch. Afternoon we take a short ferry ride to historic Westerplatte -the place where WWII started. After a short visit we continue by bus to Gdynia
and stop by the pier from which thousands of immigrants departed to North America.
Continue to the fashionable seaside resort of Sopot where we can walk on the longest wooden pier in Europe. Free time to explore , shop or enjoy some fresh cooked fish .
Return to Gdansk for dinner and overnight.

This morning we leave Gdansk and travel through the Kashubian district of northern Poland .
Continue to Torun, the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus and one of the most magnificent historic cities of Poland. Its Old Town has been included in the UNESCO’s list for its impressive 13th century Town Hall, superb churches and streets that recall Torun’s past glory.

After breakfast we depart for Lodz. After the war the city became the unlikely home of actors, directors and cinematographers, earning the nickname of “Poland’s Hollywood”. The Lodz Film School turned out icons like Roman Polanski and Andrzej Wajda. The school is still filled with students each semester, and the fabulous Museum of Cinematography celebrates all Poland has contributed to the film industry. You can also stroll the Walk of Fame on ul. Piotrkowska, where the sidewalk in front of the Grand Hotel is filled with the bronze stars of Poland’s film favorites.
The Manufaktura is a giant manufacturing plant restored into an amazing shopping mall. The project ranks as one of the most impressive urban regeneration projects in Europe.
Spend the afternoon shopping or visiting one of the many museums .
Dinner and overnight in Lodz.

We drive to Czestochowa this morning where we visit the Jasna Gora Monastery with the country’s national shrine and holy picture of the Black Madonna.
Late afternoon arrival in the picturesque mountain resort of Zakopane. Dinner and overnight .

Morning sightseeing of Zakopane including a cable car ride to the top of Mt Gubalowka where you have a great view of the Tatra mountains . Back at the bottom of the mountain is a market full of shops selling local specialties such as wood carvings , sheepskins & local cheese. Free time to shop and explore on your own. Dinner tonight will be at a typical highlander inn with Folklore.

Depart Zakopane and after a short drive we will enjoy a 2 – 2 ½ hour leisurely and very picturesque trip thru the Dunajec River Gorge on wooden rafts. Afterwards lunch in a local restaurant. Return to Zakopane. Rest of day at leisure

After breakfast we head north to Wieliczka to visit this amazing UNESCO Heritage Site. The salt mine here is one of the oldest ( 13th c.) mining sites . The underground route is a labyrinth of galleries and caverns with unique sculptures all carved out of salt. After the tour we will have lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Krakow for overnight.

This morning we will have a walking tour of Krakow including the Royal Wawel Hill, the Old Town with the Cloth Hall, the Barbican , St Mary’s Church with the 15th century Witt Stwosz Altar inside, and Florianska Gate . Lunch on your own in the Old Town . Afternoon at your leisure to explore Krakow further or for last minute shopping. Farewell dinner and overnight in Krakow.

- If cancellation is received at least 45 days before starting date : $ 100 per person
- If cancellation is received at least 44 - 35 days before starting date : $ 250 per person
- If cancellation is received at least 34 - 20 days before starting date : 50% of tour cost
- If cancellation is received at least 19 - 6 days before starting date : 75 % of tour cost
- If cancellation is received 5 – 0 days before starting date : 100 % non refundable !!
- Once booked, your air, hotel, and any other reservations cannot be transferred or changed to another name or destination.
We strongly recommend trip cancellation & interruption insurance.
