    Tour overview

    An opportunity to visit the treasures that northern Poland has to offer. In Sopot, a stroll along the longest wooden pier in Europe is a must. Further inland is the brick Castle of Malbork which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the biggest Medievel Castle in Europe.

    Itinerary

    1. Day1

      Meet the rest of the group at 6:00 PM in the lobby for a dinner at a local restaurant.


    2. Day2
      Breakfast, LunchWarsaw - Toruń

      After breakfast sightseeing of Warsaw, an extraordinary city in which influences of Western and Eastern Europe culture cross. Here historic buildings, places, churches and architectural complexes, destroyed during war, have been reconstructed with great care. UNESCO appreciated Warsaw Monuments and its relics, and has honoured the City by putting the Historic Centre of Warsaw on the World Heritage List. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Torun.


    3. Day3
      Breakfast, LunchToruń - Gdynia

      After breakfast sightseein of Torun, this medievel old town on the Vistula River is the birthplace of astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus and was a prominent trade centre in the Middle Ages. It was inscribed onto the World Heritage List of UNESCO in 1997. After lunch departure for Gdynia.


    4. Day4
      Breakfast, LunchGdynia – Gdańsk - Sopot- Gdynia

      Morning orientation tour of the three sister cities of Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot. These three municipalities make up a vast metropolis town known as the Trojmiasto (Triple City). The capital of Eastern Pomerania is Gdansk, one of Poland's three major seaports, a city with a thousand years of history and full of priceless monuments of the past. Sopot is best known for its wide wooden pier, almost half a kilometre long, and the opera which plays host to the Annual International Song Festival. North of Sopot lies Gdynia, the main port and shipbuilding center. Organ concert in the Oliwa Cathedral. Lunch. Afternoon free to enjoy at your leisure.


    5. Day5
      Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerGdynia - Olsztyn

      Today we leave for the Mazurian Lake district, one of Poland's favorite vacation areas. En route stop in Malbork, famous for the massive Teutonic Knights' castle - among the best-preserved medieval structures in Central Europe. The construction of Malbork Castle started in 1274 and the Castle is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch. Afternoon continue to Olsztyn, a town located in the lake region of forests and plains. There are 15 lakes in the area of Olsztyn. The most attractive part of the city is the Old Town which is encirceled by a set of fortified walls. Picnic Lunch.


    6. Day6
      Breakfast, DinnerOlsztyn - Olsztynek - Warsaw

      After breakfast depart for Warszawa. On the way we'll stop in Olsztynek, to visit the Skansen of Folk Architecture, the museum devoted to the 18th and 19th century folk architecture from Warmia, Mazuria, and Lithuania as well. Of particular interest is a group of very old windmills, very rare in the region, and the inn with a covered walkway. Afternoon continue to Warsaw. Dinner

  • Reservation and Payment Policy

    • Deposit of $ 500 per person is required upon booking, unless reservation is made within 45 days of departure at which time full payment is due
    • Balance due 45 days before starting date of tour
    • Guests must be at least 18 to 21 years of age at time of check-in (depending on individual hotel policy) unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    • You must present photo ID at check in.
    • Changes and cancellation can be made through Polimex Travel only. Please do not contact your travel providers to process any changes or refunds. Changes or cancellations may incur charges.
    • Your hotel reservation is prepaid and guaranteed for late arrival.
    • Any incidental charges at your hotel (parking, phone calls, room service, or energy surcharges) will be handled directly between you and the hotel.
    • Once booked, your air, hotel, and any other reservations cannot be transferred or changed to another name or destination.
    • No refunds can be made for unused hotel nights resulting from delayed check-in or early check-out, unless you've purchased a Travel Protection Plan. Please reference your insurance policy to file a claim.
    • It is highly recommended that a passport is used. Note that some destinations now accept passports only. It is the traveler's responsibility to travel with the required documents. No refunds will be made if improper documentation results in denied boarding or entry.

    Cancellation Policy (Tours)

    Cancellations are subject to the following fees :

    • If cancellation is received at least 45 days before starting date : $ 100 per person
    • If cancellation is received at least 44 - 35 days before starting date : $ 250 per person
    • If cancellation is received at least 34 - 20 days before starting date : 50% of tour cost
    • If cancellation is received at least 19 - 6 days before starting date : 75 % of tour cost
    • If cancellation is received 5 – 0 days before starting date : 100 % non refundable !!
    • Once booked, your air, hotel, and any other reservations cannot be transferred or changed to another name or destination.

    We strongly recommend trip cancellation & interruption insurance.

    • Hotel accommodation in 3, 4, or 5 star hotels as per individual program description.
    • Price is per person based on two persons sharing room. A limited number of single rooms are available by paying the supplement shown for each tour.
