• Itinerary

    1. Day1

      After arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. The afternoon is free. At 6:00PM, meet your guide and the rest of the group in the hotel lobby. Drive along the beautifully renovated Royal Route with its historical monuments and residences. Stop at Castle Square for a short walk through Old Town, and then join us for welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Your meal will include typical Polish dishes and famous Polish vodka, “Zubrowka”.


    2. Day2

      Half-day sightseeing tour of Warsaw. Highlights include Old Town, Town, beautifully rebuilt after World War II, with the impressive Royal Castle, seat of the kings of Poland. After lunch at a local restaurant in Old Town, we continue with a drive to the area of the former Warsaw Ghetto. En route, you will see the building of the National Opera House and Town Hall. During your tour of Warsaw we invite you to the famous Warsaw café, “U Bliklego”, to taste a typical Warsaw pastry called “paczek”. This evening you will take an unforgettable musical journey through the world famous compositions of our greatest composer, Frederic Chopin, at a piano recital. A glass of sparkling wine will be served during intermission. Overnight in Warsaw.


    3. Day3

      After breakfast, we depart for Zakopane – one of the most popular vacation resorts in the Tatra Mountains. En route, we stop in Czestochowa to visit the Jasna Gora Monastery and the Black Madonna Shrine with its miraculous icon. Lunch will be served a local restaurant in Czestochowa. In the evening we arrive in Zakopane beautifully situated at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, in the valley between Gubalowka and Giewont. It is the most popular resort in Poland and one of the most beautiful places in all of Poland, owing to its picturesque location. Once, a small mountain village, Zakopane became a fashionable artist’s retreat at the beginning of the 20th century.


    4. Day4

      In the morning, you will have a sightseeing tour of Zakopane, whose wooden architecture blends with the natural landscapes and it is copied in other parts of Poland and is known as Zakopianski Style. You will visit the Jaszczurowka Chapel, a great example of the wooden architecture in Zakopane, and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima at Krzeptowki, which was built by the people of Zakopane to thank the Lady of Fatima for saving the Pope after an attempt on His life. Admire the breathtaking views of the Tatras from the top of Gubalowka Mountain and shop for souvenirs of arts and crafts of the Highlanders (Gorale) in the local shops. After lunch on your own you will have a free time. Before we continue on to Krakow, take a spectacular rafting trip on the Dunajec River in Pieniny National Park. Tonight’s dinner will be served at a local restaurant in Krakow’s Old Town Market Square. Overnight in Krakow.


    5. Day5

      The morning sightseeing tour will feature Wawel, the Royal Castle, home to three dynasties of Poland’s monarchs. Its stately halls and exquisite chambers are filled with priceless art, valuable period furniture and rare ancient objects. The collection of monumental 16th century tapestries is matchless. You will also visit the Wawel Cathedral, the place of the cult of St. Stanislaw and St. Jadwiga, Queen of Poland. Its 18 chapels are true architectural masterpieces. The giant bell, Zygmunt from 1520 ranks with the world’s largest. This is the place where Polish kings were crowned and buried. Following a short break for coffee and cake at the famous Krakow café, “Jama Michalika”, a place designed by local artists with beautiful glass-painted windows and interesting drawings, we drive to Old Town with its restored Main Square of magnificent houses and palaces. There, you stop at St. Mary’s Basilica where to see the magnificent wooden altar by Wit Stwosz. In the middle of the square is Cloth Hall built before 1349, but renovated in the 16th century with many shopping stalls inside. After lunch we drive to Auschwitz to visit the Martyrdom Museum of the former Nazi concentration camp, the infamous factory of death.


    6. Day6

      In the morning time on your own. Afternoon drive to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, an unforgettable tourist attraction with underground chambers, grottoes, and chapels carved from salt. Dinner with a folkloric show will be served at a local restaurant in Wieliczka, before we drive.Back to Krakow.


    7. Day7

      After breakfast – end of tour. Transfer to the airport will be provided if required.

    Cancellation Policy (Tours)

    Cancellations are subject to the following fees :

    • If cancellation is received at least 45 days before starting date : $ 100 per person
    • If cancellation is received at least 44 - 35 days before starting date : $ 250 per person
    • If cancellation is received at least 34 - 20 days before starting date : 50% of tour cost
    • If cancellation is received at least 19 - 6 days before starting date : 75 % of tour cost
    • If cancellation is received 5 – 0 days before starting date : 100 % non refundable !!
    • Once booked, your air, hotel, and any other reservations cannot be transferred or changed to another name or destination.

    We strongly recommend trip cancellation & interruption insurance.

     

    Terms & Conditions

    1. All prices quoted herein are in Canadian Dollars.
    2. By submitting my request online, I confirm that the spelling of all passenger names listed above are correct and is how they appear in their travel documentation. I understand that if any changes to the names are required after this booking is made supplier imposed charges will apply.
    3. I also agree that it is my responsibility to ensure that I/we have the appropriate documentation (Passport/Visa/ID card etc.) to gain entry to the chosen destination and entry into Canada upon my/our return.
    4. Prices, availability, and dates during this period are subject to change as per the airline rules and regulations.
    5. For your protection, a Polimex Travel representative will call or email you to confirm your details and delivery information.
    6. It is important that you ensure that you check the names, destinations, dates, and hotel before completing your booking.
    7. Changes to bookings may result in 100% penalty, and/or an administration fee.
    8. Proof of documents for bookings using a third party credit card, may be required, back and front of card and copy of drivers license

    Fees and Taxes

    The information listed bellow, is intended to inform what fees and taxes apply when you book with Polimex Travel. In general terms, it is our travel partners and suppliers, not always us, that have the obligation to collect applicable taxes, transaction fees, airport taxes, and other charges and remit them to the government. What we collect is what we expect our travel partners and supplies will bill us for services and products sold to us.

    Some of the additional amounts listed in the “Taxes and Fees” may consist of the following:

    Airline Fuel Surcharges
    Our air inclusive vacations are priced including airline fuel surcharges, however, these fuel surcharges are assessed by the airlines and are subject to increase without notice.

    Paper Air Ticket Fees
    Most of the air booking transactions can be fulfilled with e-ticket. However, when some airlines do not offer e-tickets, or if you request paper ticket, there could be additional fees for shipping and handling. Airlines may asses additional charges for paper tickets and we will bill any such fees to the credit card provided during booking and reservation process.

    Travel Tour Packages
    Cost and prices for our travel package tours are subject to change based upon your choice of travel dates, departure city, number of travelers, or other items, and we may require a minimum number of nights’ stay. The additional amounts listed in the “Taxes and Fees” consist of the amount that we expect our partner and supplier will bill us for the applicable government taxes, processing service fees, and other charges associated with tour package.

    Air Transactions
    In certain stand-alone air transactions, we serve as the merchant of record for credit card and payment purposes. The additional amounts listed in the “Taxes and Fees” consist of the amount that we expect our partner and supplier will bill us for the applicable government taxes, processing service fees, and other charges associated with tour package. Additionally, all air fares may be subject to additional restrictions and fees and may change without notice. Specific fare rules are provided prior to purchase by our Polimex Travel Agents.

    Other Incidentals Fees and Charges
    Please remember that you may incur charges while traveling that are not payable to us and are not included in the quoted price, such as hotel extra-person or extra-bed charges, resort fees, gratuities, hotel energy surcharges, parking fees, telephone fees, room service, movies, mini-bar, or rental car insurance, gasoline, and other incidentals.
