• Itinerary

    1. Day1

      Arrive in Sofia. You will be met at the Airport and transferred to the hotel. Plenty of time to relax before meeting your fellow travelers and tour director at the welcome dinner.


    2. Day2

      Half day Sofia city tour. The highlighof the tour will be the visits to the National History Museum where the gold and silver Thracian treasures are displayed, the Alexander Nevski Cathedral and Alexander Nevski Crypt. Evening at leisure to relax. Overnight.


    3. Day3

      After breakfast departure to Nis.On the route visit Studenica Monstery, one of the largest and richest Serb Orthodox monasteries. In 1986 UNESCO included Studenica monastery on the list of World Heritage. In the late afternoon , arrival at Belgrad. Enjoy dinner with local live music in a typical national restaurant in the old bohemian guarter of Skadarlija. Overnight.


    4. Day4

      Your morning sightseeing tour includes the city"s main attractions: the imposing Kalamegdan Fortress dramatically situated at the joining of the Sava and Danube Rivers; the republic Square and Knez Mihajlova street; Saint Sava Temple , the largest Orthodox Church in the city, and Tito's Memorial.


    5. Day5

      After breakfast departure to Sibiu. A short viit of Timisoara, the city where Romanian revolution started in 1989. Lunch en route is included.On the way to Sibiu, we will visit the fortress of hunedoara, that become the castle of the most pre-eminent king of the medieval- Matia Corvin. The monument has a special glamour due to its different constaction styles, the presence of military and civil innovations as well as the impetuous court life animated if for more than 400 years. Arrival to Sibiu and accommodatio with dinner.


    6. Day6

      After breakfast , sightseeing tour of Sbiu, once the richest town in Transylvania. During the tour you will see the Huet Square, the large Squere , the Evangelical Cathedral, the Liars Bridge and others. Continue towards Sighisoara, the best preserved medieval city in South-Eastern Europe, for sightseeing tour including entrance to the famous Clock Tower Museum. Continue to Brasov , walking tour of Brasov including the visit of the First Romanian School with an impressive collection of rare books. Accommodation and dinner in local restaurant.


    7. Day7

      Following breakfast departure towards Bran. Vissit of the Bran Castle made famous by Bram Stoker's novel as the residence of the vampire count , Dracula. Continue to Bucharest and stop in Pales Castle build as the summer residence of King carol I. Afterwards continue to the 17th century Sinaia Monostery and to Bucharest. After arrival accommodation at your hotel and dinner.


    8. Day8

      Get acquainted with the Romanian capital, once nick-named "Little Paris". During the tour you will visit the Parliament Palace , the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon and the national treasure. Listen how the Romanian people finally succeeded to topple the last communist dictator in eastern Europe in the Revolutions Squere.Your tour will bring you also to the Romanian Athenaeum, the Opera House , the National Military Club, the Military Academy, Triumphal Arch and The Village Museum. Farewell dinner with folklore show.


    9. Day9

      After breakfast you have some time at leisure until the departure transfer to the airport for your flight home.

    Cancellation Policy (Tours)

    Cancellations are subject to the following fees :

    • If cancellation is received at least 45 days before starting date : $ 100 per person
    • If cancellation is received at least 44 - 35 days before starting date : $ 250 per person
    • If cancellation is received at least 34 - 20 days before starting date : 50% of tour cost
    • If cancellation is received at least 19 - 6 days before starting date : 75 % of tour cost
    • If cancellation is received 5 – 0 days before starting date : 100 % non refundable !!
    • Once booked, your air, hotel, and any other reservations cannot be transferred or changed to another name or destination.

    We strongly recommend trip cancellation & interruption insurance.

    1. All prices quoted herein are in Canadian Dollars.
    2. By submitting my request online, I confirm that the spelling of all passenger names listed above are correct and is how they appear in their travel documentation. I understand that if any changes to the names are required after this booking is made supplier imposed charges will apply.
    3. I also agree that it is my responsibility to ensure that I/we have the appropriate documentation (Passport/Visa/ID card etc.) to gain entry to the chosen destination and entry into Canada upon my/our return.
    4. Prices, availability, and dates during this period are subject to change as per the airline rules and regulations.
    5. For your protection, a Polimex Travel representative will call or email you to confirm your details and delivery information.
    6. It is important that you ensure that you check the names, destinations, dates, and hotel before completing your booking.
    7. Changes to bookings may result in 100% penalty, and/or an administration fee.
    8. Proof of documents for bookings using a third party credit card, may be required, back and front of card and copy of drivers license

    Reservation and Payment Policy

    • Deposit of $ 500 per person is required upon booking, unless reservation is made within 45 days of departure at which time full payment is due
    • Balance due 45 days before starting date of tour
    • Guests must be at least 18 to 21 years of age at time of check-in (depending on individual hotel policy) unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    • You must present photo ID at check in.
    • Changes and cancellation can be made through Polimex Travel only. Please do not contact your travel providers to process any changes or refunds. Changes or cancellations may incur charges.
    • Your hotel reservation is prepaid and guaranteed for late arrival.
    • Any incidental charges at your hotel (parking, phone calls, room service, or energy surcharges) will be handled directly between you and the hotel.
    • Once booked, your air, hotel, and any other reservations cannot be transferred or changed to another name or destination.
    • No refunds can be made for unused hotel nights resulting from delayed check-in or early check-out, unless you've purchased a Travel Protection Plan. Please reference your insurance policy to file a claim.
    • It is highly recommended that a passport is used. Note that some destinations now accept passports only. It is the traveler's responsibility to travel with the required documents. No refunds will be made if improper documentation results in denied boarding or entry.
