    1. Day1

      DAY 01: Depart Canada

Your journey begins with a regularly scheduled overnight flight to Reykjavik. Relax, recline and drift away as you fly to capital and largest city of Iceland.

    2. Day2

      DAY 02: Reykjavik (B)

Upon arrival at Keflavik International Airport you will be met by your private driver and guide. We will start with a hearty Scandinavian breakfast at the Viking World café while we wait for the Blue Lagoon to open. There is no better way to start your Icelandic adventure than by bathing in the famous Blue Lagoon, learn more about the volcanic eruption that created the surrounding landscape nearly 800 years ago and how the lagoon was formed and the wonders of geothermal seawater. Drive to the capital, Reykjavic to check in to your hotel. Please note that check in starts at 2pm. This evening you will join a mysterious tour, looking for the Aurora Borealis, on a dark winter night in Iceland. Far from the glow of the city, we hunt for the elusive Northern Lights. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and beyond our control. They are visible in Iceland from September through April but visibility is subject to Northern Lights activity and cloud coverage. We cannot guarantee sightings even if the tour is operated.

    3. Day3

      DAY 03: Reykjavik – Golden Circle – Reykjavik (B)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. The Golden Circle is probably the most popular day tour out of Reykjavik and for several good reasons. This is a full-day round tour of the south-west of Iceland and includes three of the best known attractions Iceland has to offer: Gullfoss (the Golden Waterfall), one of the most impressive waterfalls in Europe with thousands of tons of icy water thundering majestically into a deep canyon; The Geysir Area, with numerous hot springs, fumaroles and geysers, including the 30-meter spouting world known Strokkur; Pingvellir, a remarkable geological site and a historic site as well. Pingvellir is the site of the world’s oldest democratic parliament founded in 930 and the beautiful canyon running through the park is actually the dividing fault line between two of the earth’s tectonic plates. At the end of the day we head back to the hotel in Reykjavik.
