On Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th  September a Polish Roncesvallles Festival was held in Roncesvalles Village to celebrate polish culture. Polimex Travel played a major role during those days.

The medieval times theme arose from our initiatvie. We wanted to emphasise this year medieval heritage and history of Poland.  We were very keen to promote the medieval aspect of our country. Polimex Travel introduced to the participants of festival a tourist destination rich in medieval accents.

We  were very  fortunate in having the support from Medieval Times, two knights, the princess Elleonore, Falconer and Master of Ceremony joined us and performed on the main stage at Credit Union  a real knight's tournament. Interactive  events included  possibility of fight with a knight as well as a knight photo booth were available at the festival.

The festival appealed to a broad audience  by mariacki anthem being played on the trumpet right from Polimex officces's roof with a built in Mariacki's church tower. The historical reenactments at Polimex booth  as well as draw of PSP go and tickets to Medieval Times Show also had a broad age group appeal.
